6 Quick Tips for a V-shaped Face: Say No to Puffy Cheeks

Fat-type Puffy Cheeks: Caused by fat accumulation, simply put, gaining weight.
Bone Structure-type Puffy Cheeks: Naturally wider jawbones.
Muscle-type Puffy Cheeks: Developed masseter muscles due to bad chewing habits.

1. Open Your Mouth Wide

Open your mouth wide, as if yawning, to a comfortable position where you feel a stretch

in your masseter muscles. Hold for 30 seconds, and do 3 sets daily.

This exercise can strengthen facial and jaw muscles, enhancing facial contours.

2. Tongue Circling

With your mouth closed, slowly circle your tongue inside your mouth.

Do 20 seconds clockwise and 20 seconds counterclockwise, 3 sets daily.

This can stimulate the contraction and relaxation of facial muscles, enhancing their elasticity and firmness.

3. Jawline Lifting

Use your index and middle fingers to lift from your chin to your temples, massaging your neck to aid circulation.

Hold for 60 seconds, 3 sets daily. This improves facial skin firmness, reduces puffiness, and shapes a firm jawline.

4. Masseter Massage

With fists clenched, place your knuckles on top of your masseter muscles and massage in circles for 60 seconds, 3 sets daily.

This promotes facial blood circulation, relaxes facial muscles, and reduces facial swelling and fatigue.

5. Fish Blowing Bubbles

Pucker your lips and make continuous "puh puh" sounds like a fish blowing bubbles, quickly closing your lips each time.

Repeat 10 times, 2 sets daily. This exercises the muscles around your lips, enhancing lip line firmness and definition.

6. Kissing the Ceiling

Tilt your head back and kiss the ceiling, aiming to lift your lips as high as possible. Hold for 10 seconds, 3 sets of 5 daily.

This exercises facial and neck muscles, enhancing the aesthetic of facial contours.

Preventing Puffy Cheeks

1. Avoid Overusing Masseter Muscles

Chewing hard food or chewing gum for extended periods can enlarge the masseter muscles, leading to puffy cheeks and a bigger face.

2. Maintain Good Sleeping Posture

Avoid sleeping on one side for too long, which can compress one side of the face,

causing uneven muscle and fat distribution and leading to puffy cheeks.

It's recommended to frequently change your sleeping position.

3. Control Your Weight

Avoid rapid weight gain to prevent fat accumulation on the face, leading to puffy cheeks.

This can be achieved through exercise and diet control.
